Tom came out to our house right away to tell us the issue. We had a lightning strike that broke many of our roof tiles. They gave us a fair price to repair the damage and fixed the roof within two weeks. We highly recommend them and will be calling them again if the need should arise. Boy I hope not though. This was the third time I’ve used Phoenix. I returned twice because of excellent workmanship and follow up the first 2 times. I would like to add that my most recent roof job was Ian damage to my large utility shed roof. Tom reached out to me once he had the essential jobs complete (living areas/home roofs done) and got my backyard utility building all secured and in only a day or2.

I came to Tom (Phoenix) through a contractor I hired. With all the roofs that had to be done the wait was long.. but when it was my turn his crew came and knocked it out of the park! I was in awe of the woman supervisor.. she was so kind and was easy to communicate with as I watched the work being done. She and Tom himself were both so kind and helpful to me in each discussion we had. The workers worked hard.. the foreman was not as helpful as the supervisor and as the woman supervisor. She really helped bridge the communication between languages!!

Over-all I am very pleased with the new shingle roof they installed for my Mother-In-Law. They performed the work they agreed to do at the price that was quoted, which was very reasonable. The amount of time it took them to complete the job was acceptable. Only a few disappointments: lack of documentation for the job, specifically for completed inspections and for the completion of the job; and wrinkles/ridges in the underlayment which telegraphed through to show in the shingles. Even the wind mitigation inspector noticed it and said the underlayment should have been laid down perfectly flat, which it was not. Thomas from Phoenix said that “it should flatten out over time” which, with the warm weather it has, somewhat.

The single standing seam metal roof was completed on time with over the top quality. Everyone from tear off to install crews were hard working with outstanding professionalism.

Phoenix Contracting of SW FL … hmmm, I wasn’t sure about hiring them to re-roof my house. But my intensive research brought this company as one of the best, yet affordable in SW Florida. Thomas has responded quickly for my request and surprised me, showing up the next day on time (which is rare in SW FL) He surprised me again with the best price, I could get. So, I thought it might bring a lower quality of work… Not at all! I’m very happy with the level of experience and short time it took to finish. The job was done quickly and clean. As an ignorant in construction I even asked the Inspector, who came for the final inspection: how it looks up there? He said: I have to scare you… it looks scary good :0) I’m from Illinois, therefore I have zero knowledge about the local companies. Thomas and his crew were a pleasure to work with! He answered all questions and was very professional. His process was well communicated. With supply delays, we were expecting to be several weeks out, but the stars aligned and he was able to get us in quickly. They did a great job cleaning up after. Knowing we have young kids, I saw a few of the guys checking the yard daily to make sure nothing was left behind. They replaced our 17 year old roof, and the new one looks beautiful. We highly recommend!

What a pleasure to have a business that is responsive, gives accurate and detailed estimates without any surprises, makes an appointment AND shows up on time. Their work was completed in a timely manner. We were even given pictures of the before and after of the roof repair that we could not possibly see on our own due to the location. All work completed in a timely and professional manner. This was a white tile complete roof replacement and looks great. I would recommend Phoenix based on quality work and fair pricing.

From start to finish everything was prompt, professional, and courteous. We had a new roof installed on a new out building by Phoenix and will definitely be using them to install a new roof on our home when the time comes. If they say they will be there at 8:00 and the job will be done on Tuesday, it will be. Its great to have a local independent company to be able to rely on and still care about customer service when others have abandoned customer service in the name of COVID.
