Response to the owner: Apparently, all I need to do was leave a bad review to get the owners attention? Should’ve done that months ago! I was a paying customer; I have the contract that I signed with your company. Which I am happy to send it over you for the 5th time now. However, which I can tell you didn’t read my original review, I will not be removing this review. I was a paying customer & my opinion still stands. Original Review: Buyer beware! Their warranties mean nothing! After getting my roof installed about 3 years ago by this company, I had a leak appear roughly 7 months ago. No problem I thought, my handy dandy roofer said there was a 10 year craftsmanship warranty on my roof, when I was signing the contract. So, I reach out to them to figure out the best option to get the roof repaired. I was prepared to pay some money (even though I shouldn’t need to), however, when the person came out to look at my roof, that is when the chaos started. After about 5 minutes on the roof, the inspector comes down, and he stated that there was no damage on the roof. Well, there is a massive water stain in my ceiling, so I show him, then another 10 minutes goes by & he comes down with pictures of where the damage is. Sweet, I thought, let’s get this fixed! He then states that he needed to get approval from management, before authorizing the fix. No problem so far, right? 2 weeks later, I get a call saying that there is too much extensive damage for a simple repair & that we needed a full replacement. How do you go about that? Well, I could file an insurance claim or PAY THEM TO REPLACE THE ROOF. I explain to the office person, that we had a warranty & that we needed it fixed. Then, the story changed to, we do not offer warranties… now I keep all the contracts I sign & so I requested them to take a look at the contract I signed, sent it in & got the response of the following: “We are sorry for the misunderstanding, but unfortunately, we have no record of this contract being signed. So, we cannot offer a warranty on this roof.” For everyone keeping track at home, we have gone from; “Yes, there is a warranty”, to “no there is no warranty”, back to “yes, there is a warranty, but we didn’t sign this contract & we are no honoring it.” Wrapping it up, I asked to speak with the owner, Thomas, about this 6 MONTHS AGO & was told he would give me a call back the next day or two. After a phone call to the office every week, I have yet to hear from him. It’s always “Oh, he’s on a job” or “He’s out of town” … I am not asking for much here, all I wanted is for the leak to stop & I am highly disappointed in this business & it’s deceitful tactics. I will not remove this review, since there is no hope for a repair anymore. I went to another roofing company, and they fixed the issue (in the same day mind you). What was the issue you might be asking? A simple shingle that had come slightly loose… How much did it cost me? $200 for the repair. If you do the basic math (and I asked the owner of this other roofing company the pricing), with a 40% markup, it would only be $140 (ish) in materials. You are telling me, we have gone through 7 MONTHS of this, over $140 that this company was to cheap to spend. They have gotten a bad review, because they wanted me to buy a new roof when nothing needed to be done to mine in the first place. I have submitted all of my evidence to BBB & all relevant organizations, I also will be actively not recommending them to anyone else.

We’ve used Phoenix three times over as many years for our main roof, a remodel, and a new addition using shingles primarily but also TPO for a flat roof section. They have been quick to respond, competitive, and did quality work. Overall a joy to work with and we highly recommend them!

Phoenix Roofing company did a tremendous job replacing my roof. They removed the old tile roof less than a day and they completed the project in less than five. Tom Schofield gave me a fair price and delivered everything that he promised special shout out to his crew who also did an excellent job and cleaned up everything at the completion of the job. I highly recommend this company and you will not be sorry.
